allmates.ai lets you choose how you send messages using your keyboard. The Message Send Shortcut setting — found in your Preferences — lets you pick between two modes: a safe, deliberate shortcut or a fast, chat-style experience. Your choice is saved to your profile and applies instantly across every conversation.

Where to Find the Setting

1. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the interface.

2. Open the Preferences tab.

3. Scroll to the Keyboard Shortcuts section.

4. Use the Send message dropdown to select your preferred shortcut.

Available Options

Cmd/Ctrl + Enter — The Default Mode

This is the default setting. Pressing Enter creates a new line in the editor, while Cmd+Enter (Mac) or Ctrl+Enter (Windows) sends the message.

• An audio transcription is in progress.

• One or more files are still uploading.

Simply wait for these actions to complete, then send your message.

No page reload needed. As soon as you select a new option in the dropdown, the new shortcut applies across all your open conversations — instantly.
